Duterte siblings visit dad at The Hague: We will be whole again

The four children of former President Rodrigo Duterte are in The Hague to visit their father who is currently detained by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Davao Representative Paolo "Pulong" Duterte posted a picture on social media showing him with Vice President Sara Duterte, Davao City Vice Mayor Baste Duterte, and Kitty Duterte.

"We carry hope in our hearts that one day, distance will fade and we’ll be whole again with our father. We love you, Pa. #BringPRRDHome," said Paolo Duterte

Duterte was arrested on March 11 based on an arrest warrant issued by the ICC over his alleged crimes against humanity in connection with the killings under his war on drugs when he was mayor of Davao City and when he was president of the Philippines.

Government records showed that there were over 6,000 drug suspects killed in police operations during the previous administration's drug war. Human rights organizations, however, said that the death toll may have reached 30,000 due to unreported incidents. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
