Results of August 2025 electrical engineers, master electricians, pro upgrade exams

A graduate of the Cebu Institute of Technology-University topped the August 2025 licensure examination for registered electrical engineers, while a graduate of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Main was the highest scorer in the licensure exam for master electricians.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, both exams were given by the Board of Electrical Engineering at test centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

In the registered electrical engineers licensure exam, 1,240 out of 3,186 test takers passed, with Jolly Babe Mallari Siago of CIT University in the top spot with a score of 93.45%.

The top performing university was the University of the Philippines Los Baños, with all 30 of its test takers passing.

In the registered master electricians licensure exam, 570 out of 814 test takers passed, with Alvin Manlangit Cabigot of PUP-Main achieving the top score of 87.00%.

Meanwhile, nine test takers passed the technical evaluation for upgrading as professional electrical engineers, given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Metro Manila this month. They are:
