PNP ex-spokesperson Fajardo reassigned to Eastern Mindanao

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday said its Directorate for Comptrollership chief Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo has been reassigned to the Area Police Command (APC)- Eastern Mindanao. 

This is based on an order dated September 6, which was confirmed by PNP public information chief Police Brigadier General Randulf Tuaño to GMA News Online.

Fajardo was replaced by National Police Training Institute (NPTI) director Major General Westrimundo Obinque.

Replacing Obinque, APC-Southern Luzon deputy commander Police Major General Christopher Birung will now lead the NPTI. 

Meanwhile, APC-Southern Luzon executive officer Police Brigadier General Leon Victor Rosete was also moved to APC-Southern Luzon. 

Before this, Fajardo was also relieved from her post as spokesperson of the police organization. —KG, GMA Integrated News
