UM-Davao, UP Diliman grads tie for social worker licensure exam top spot
Two test takers—one from the University of Mindanao-Davao City and the other from the University of the Philippines-Diliman—shared the top spot in the recent licensure examination for social workers, the Professional Regulation Commission said.
According to the PRC, 7,334 out of 9,647 examinees passed the exam, given by the Board for Social Workers at 18 testing centers nationwide earlier this month.
Desiree Revilla Alimbon of UM-Davao City and Dianne Ross Lorenton Laynes of UP Diliman both scored the highest grade of 90.80%, while 24 schools achieved a 100% passing rate.
Of these 24 schools, four had more than 50 test takers: Bicol University-Daraga with all 113 of its test takers passing; Davao del Norte State College with 88; Mindanao State University-Marawi City with 82; and Cavite State University (Don Severino Agricultural College) with 62.
