Palace on using foul language: Fight for what's right in correct manner
Malacañang on Monday said that while it respects the public's right to express its sentiments, it should be done in the correct manner.
During a press briefing, Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro had a message for those who used foul language in expressing their outrage against corruption. She did not identify anyone.
''Sa iilang gumamit ng foul language, nirerespeto ang inyong karapatang magpahayag pero may responsibilidad din kayong maging magandang ehemplo lalo na sa kabataan. Ipinaglalaban natin ang tama, idaan natin sa paraang tama,'' Castro said.
(To those who used foul language, we respect your right to express but you also have the responsibility to be good examples for the youth. Let's fight for what is right but let's do it in the correct manner.)
To recall, comedian Vice Ganda cursed at individuals who are allegedly involved in corruption during the September 21 rally at the People Power Monument in EDSA.
Vice Ganda also challenged President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. to imprison thieves in the country. —RF, GMA Integrated News
