What Henry Alcantara said in sworn statement on kickbacks, flood control projects

Former Department of Public Works and Highways Bulacan first district engineer Henry Alcantara on Tuesday read before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee his sworn statement on the alleged ghost and substandard flood control projects and the billions of pesos in kickbacks allegedly received by government officials and private contractors.

Widely criticized for his alleged role in the massive corruption, Alcantara told the committee that he felt fear because of his revelations but answered in the affirmative when he was asked by Sen. Francis Pangilinan if he somehow felt unburdened.
