Malacañang on Tuesday said that the alleged "ghost" farm-to-market road projects are being looked into by the administration.

Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro said in a briefing that the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is also looking into it.

(I've talked to Secretary Vince this morning, and he said the DPWH also focuses on this, as this should be addressed at the soonest possible time.)

(Like what we said, these anomalies, not just the flood control projects, must be looked into.)

The Department of Agriculture recently discovered alleged ''ghost'' farm-to-market roads worth P75 million in Mindanao.

Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. said it seems that what the DA had discovered was an isolated case.

Tiu Laurel already informed the President about the matter and he will formally submit a report on Wednesday, October 1. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
