LIVE UPDATES: Cebu earthquake (Oct. 2, 2025)

The reported death toll from the magnitude 6.9 earthquake that struck Bogo City, Cebu on Tuesday has climbed to 69, according to the Office of Civil Defense. 

It was the strongest earthquake ever recorded in northern Cebu and rescue efforts continue while residents are still reeling from its impact.
