LOOK: Brice Hernandez, Jaypee Mendoza arrive at DOJ for 3rd visit
Former Bulacan first district assistant engineers Brice Hernandez and Jaypee Mendoza on Thursday made their third visit to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for the case build-up on anomalous flood control projects on Thursday.
The two are currently under "provisional acceptance” into the Witness Protection Program, but they are not yet state witnesses.
Hernandez previously gave the DOJ the information stored on his computer.
He has clarified that the computer contains the names of lawmakers, not senators, who may be linked to anomalous flood control projects.
Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla previously said that up to 200 individuals nationwide are being investigated for involvement in the projects.
Meanwhile, dismissed Bulacan first district engineer Henry Alcantara arrived at the DOJ in the afternoon.
He is also under provisional acceptance into the WPP.
Alcantara previously testified during a Senate hearing that he worked with former Public Works and Highways Undersecretary Roberto Bernardo in giving commissions off flood control projects to the camps of several government officials. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
