VP Sara honors teachers for uplifting Filipino youth's skills
Vice President Sara Duterte on Sunday honored teachers and their role in strengthening Filipino youth skills for nation-building.
(Today, we recognize the important role our teachers play in building a strong nation and securing a bright future for our youth.)
(We honor your significant contribution to the growth of your profession and to the advancement of the potential and skills of the Filipino youth.)
October 5 marks World Teachers’ Day, as it commemorates the signing of the UNESCO recommendation setting standards for the teaching profession.
Duterte also underscored the teachers’ hard work and sacrifices in educating the Filipino youth.
“Hangad namin ang inyong patuloy na tagumpay, kalakasan at kalusugan, at nakikiisa kami sa inyong mga mithiin para sa kapakanan ng ating kabataan at bayan,” the Vice President said.
(We wish you continued success, strength, and good health, and we stand with you in your aspirations for the welfare of our youth and our nation.)
(May you continue to be an inspiration to more young people as you walk the path toward our shared goal of a strong and united Philippines.)
