Marcos shares relationship with three sons: I never treated them as a child

President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. shared on Wednesday how he is as a father to his three sons, Sandro, Simon, and Vinny.

In an episode of the BBM Podcast, Marcos said his relationship with his sons had developed over the years, adding that the three have always make him laugh a lot.

''I've always treated them as whole persons, I never... 'this is a child,' for example I never did baby talk, that's the most silly thing to do and I just dealt with them as people and that's developed over the years,'' Marcos said.

''They're very distinct in their personalities and over the years, we developed a way of relating,'' Marcos added.

Asked what advice he would give on his future daughter-in-law, Marcos said, ''I'm at this stage in my life, where I would say, 'Yes please,' but I will also add, ' good luck.' Knowing my sons, good luck with that.''

In the podcast, Marcos, despite his busy schedule, said he tries to cook for his family over the weekend. As an Ilocano native, his favorite dish is pinakbet.
