BI receives DOJ lookout bulletin order on Romualdez, Escudero, Estrada, Villanueva, Revilla, Binay
The Bureau of Immigration has received the Department of Justice's immigration lookout bulletin order on Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez, Sen. Francis Escudero, and other lawmakers and government officials in connection with the request of the Independent Commission for Infrastructure.
Also on the ILBO are senators Jinggoy Estrada and Joel Villanueva, and former senators Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr., and Makati Mayor Nancy Binay.
"We confirm receipt of the ILBO issued by the Department of Justice against 33 individuals today, Oct. 8. Their names have been immediately included in our centralized database and their travels will be strictly monitored," BI spokesperson Dana Sandoval said.

ICI chairman retired Justice Andres Reyes earlier requested the DOJ to issue an ILBO on the following individuals:

Reyes said these individuals have been linked to non-existent or "ghost" projects, or the substandard implementation of flood control projects.
"The timely issuance of an ILBO is of utmost necessity to enable the Commission to proceed without delay and to hold those liable accountable to the Filipino people," he said in the letter.
Many of the lawmakers and officials on the list have denied any role in the flood control projects scandal.
