(As of 9:00 o'clock today, 19,729 complaints were recorded and maybe tomorrow, we will have a detailed report what happened in these reports, what were solved and what actions were made.)
Marcos launched sumbongsapangulo.ph, a website designed to provide the public with access to information on flood control projects across the country. This will also allow them to report any irregularities on the said projects.
Malacañang had urged the public not to report false information on the website as investigation on faulty and anomalous flood control programs is ongoing.
The President said the whole audit process on flood control projects would not work unless the citizens are involved.
The Independent Commission for Infrastructure was created to investigate anomalies in flood control projects. The reports filed in the website will be looked into by the independent body. — Anna Felicia Bajo/RSJ, GMA Integrated News
