ICI requests Immigration lookout order vs. more individuals
The Independent Commission for Infrastructure on Wednesday requested the issuance an Immigration Lookout Bulletin (ILBO) against some individuals amid its probe on anomalous flood control projects.
In its request to the Department of Justice, the ICI asked for a lookout order against the following:
- Former Caloocan Representative Mary Mitzi “Mitch” Cajayon-Uy
- Arturo “Art” Atayde
- Alvin Tan
- Bong Marasigan
- Elmer de Leon
- Ed Fuentebella
- Johnny Santos
- John Mary Vianney Parago
- Alvin Mariano
- Ryan Uy
- Darryl Recio
- Nestor Venturina
- Benjie Tocol
- District Engineer Aristotle Ramos
- District Engineer Michael Rosaria
- Engineer Angelita Garucha
The ICI said the request was sent on October 13, Monday.
GMA News Online reached out to Cajayon and others named in the request for their respective comments and will publish it once available.
DOJ officials previously said that an ILBO directs Immigration employees to inform law enforcement agencies regarding the whereabouts of the individuals named in the order. It does not prevent any individual from leaving the country.
Last week, the DOJ issued an ILBO against Leyte Representative Martin Romualdez, Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero, and other lawmakers upon the request of the ICI. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
