PNP to deploy over 25K cops for Undas 2025
More than 25,000 cops will be deployed across the country to ensure peace and order as Filipinos pay their respects to their dearly departed during All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day on Nov. 1 and 2, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Monday.
“Kaugnay naman po ng ating paghahanda sa Oplan Undas, ang total number of PNP personnel na ide-deploy natin ay 25,349,” PNP spokesperson Police Brigadier General Randulf Tuaño said in a press briefing.

Aside from this, 8,265 personnel from the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Philippine Coast Guard will help the PNP maintain peace and order.
Around 2,000 force multipliers consisting of local government and non-government organizations’ personnel will also augment the government’s security forces during the All Saints’ Day observance.
In total, around 56,000 personnel from different agencies and non-government groups will be deployed for Undas 2025, according to Tuaño.
These forces will be designated to secure 5,175 cemeteries, columbariums, and memorial parks across the country.
A total of 5,293 police desks and 1,660 motorist assistance desks will be established at places of convergence such as terminals and ports.
Tuaño said the PNP's deployment for Nov. 1 and 2 may be increased, depending on the outcome of an upcoming meeting of police regional directors. — JMA, GMA Integrated News
