How to get 'One RFID' for Luzon's expressways

The government and two tollway operators – the Ramon Ang-led SMC Infrastructure and Manny Pangilinan-led Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC) – on Tuesday launched the “One RFID, All Tollways,” a toll collection interoperability initiative aimed at ensuring smooth, seamless travel across Luzon’s expressway network.

The Department of Transportation said motorists now have the option to use just one RFID account in traversing Luzon’s expressways.

To enroll in One RFID, motorists may register online through the website of their Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) provider.

Here are the following steps in registering through the Autosweep RFID account:

Go to the Autosweep RFID website. If you have an Autosweep account, fill out the following details:

  • Account Number
  • Plate Number
  • Conduction Sticker (Optional)

Click “I want to enroll my vehicles in interoperability,” then fill out the following details and click submit:

  • Account Type
  • Name
  • Address
  • Email
  • Mobile Number
  • Emergency Contact Details

Enter the verification code and then upload a valid driver’s license, valid government-issued ID, and the official receipt/certificate of registration. Click enter and verify through a one-time password that will be sent to you.

You will receive a message with the enrollment ID to validate your registration.

For Easytrip RFID users, go to the Easytrip website and click “enroll now” under “One RFID, All Tollways.”

Click “select and proceed” under “One RFID, All Tollways RFID” at the bottom of the website and prepare the following:

  • Valid Driver’s License ID
  • Vehicle Certification of Registration
  • Official Receipt
  • Deed of Sale (If you are not the registered owner of the vehicle)

Fill out the following details and then click confirm:

  • RFID account number
  • Plate Number
  • Conduction Number
  • Email Address
  • Verification Code

Upon successful registration, motorists may present their enrollment ID to the RFID provider’s service center to remove the unchosen RFID sticker and account.

Once the sticker and account are settled, motorists may now top up their chosen RFID account.

The One RFID will enable seamless access to the following road sections without having to switch between Autosweep and Easytrip:

  • North Luzon Expressway (NLEX)
  • Subic–Clark–Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX)
  • NLEX Connector
  • Manila–Cavite Toll Expressway (CAVITEX)
  • Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX)
  • C5 Link
  • South Luzon Expressway (SLEX)
  • Tarlac–Pangasinan–La Union Expressway (TPLEX)
  • Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR)
  • Skyway
  • Ninoy Aquino International Airport Expressway (NAIAX)
  • Muntinlupa–Cavite Expressway (MCX).

In a joint statement earlier on Tuesday, the two tollway operators proudly announced the “successful completion of interoperability between our electronic toll collection (ETC) systems, Autosweep and Easytrip.”

“This latest feature will directly benefit motorists who will register for a new ETC account, as they will only need one radio frequency identification and account to travel seamlessly across the Luzon expressway network,” they said.
