PNP on full alert status for Undas 2025

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Thursday said it will be on full alert status to secure the observance of the All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day on November 1 and 2.

“Kapag panahon po ng Undas, nagtataas po tayo ng full alert status (During Undas, we raise the full alert status),” PNP spokesperson Police Brigadier General Randulf Tuaño said in a press briefing.

Under full alert, the PNP said more cops will be available as absences or leaves will not be allowed among police personnel.

Tuaño said no threats have been monitored so far in connection with the observance of Undas.

He said the planned police deployment has been increased to 31,298. These cops will be assigned to guard a total of 5,065 cemeteries, columbariums, and memorial parks across the country.

A total of 5,169 police assistance desks will be set up.

Aside from the PNP, a total of 11,707 personnel from the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Philippine Coast Guard will also help secure the occasions.

As force multipliers, a total of 29,899 personnel from barangay governments and non-government organizations are also expected to help. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
