SC suspends work in courts on Oct. 30 for Undas 2025 observance
The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday announced the suspension of work in the country’s courts on Thursday, Oct. 30, to enable court personnel to join the country’s observance of Undas 2025.
The work suspension will apply to the SC, Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan, Court of Tax Appeals, and all first and second-level courts.
In an advisory on Wednesday, the SC said the suspension will take effect starting noon of Oct. 30.
This is “to allow court personnel to appropriately observe traditional All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day activities.”
The High Court added that a skeleton workforce shall be maintained in the said courts.
Earlier, Malacanang declared Oct. 31, the eve of All Saints’ Day, as an additional special non-working day. Nov. 1 or All Saints’ Day is also a special non-working day. — JMA, GMA Integrated News
