MRT-3: Free rides for children on Nov. 3 for National Children's Month celebration

The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) will offer free rides to children below 18 years old on Monday, Nov. 3, as part of the celebration for National Children’s Month.

In an advisory, the MRT-3 said the free train rides for children will be from 7 am. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The free train rides are in response to the request of the National Council for the Welfare of Children for the observance of the 2025 National Children’s Month.

National Children’s Month is celebrated every November as provided for in Republic Act 10661 or the “National Children’s Month Act.”

This is to recognize children as the country’s most valuable assets and to underscore their important role in the Filipino family and in society. — JMA, GMA Integrated News
