Filipinos head early to cemeteries for All Souls' Day 2025
Some Filipinos headed to cemeteries early Sunday morning to remember their departed loved ones in observance of All Souls' Day, part of the Undas tradition.
At Manila North Cemetery, there were some families seen entering as gates opened at 5 a.m., according to a report by Carlo Mateo on Super Radyo dzBB.

Personnel were at the inspection area by the entrance to check visitors' belongings and ensure no prohibited items are brought inside the cemetery.

Meanwhile, stalls selling flowers were seen along A. Bonifacio Avenue, as well as trash to be collected by garbage trucks.
Manila Police District personnel and K9 units were at the cemetery early to ensure security.
The Philippine Red Cross also sent an ambulance.
Wristbands were ready for children so they would be easily identified and their relatives contacted should they get lost.

Over 1 million visitors were at Manila North Cemetery on Saturday, All Saints' Day.
Meanwhile, at Manila South Cemetery, the number of visitors who entered on Sunday was 320 as of 7 a.m., according to a tweet by Mao dela Cruz of Super Radyo dzBB.

Some of them brought items that were prohibited such as scissors, and these had to be left at the entrance. —KG, GMA Integrated News
