CAAP: 5.8M passengers in airports for November 2025

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) on Sunday said it is expecting 5.8 million passengers in airports from November to December 2025 amid Undas 2025 and the upcoming Christmas celebrations.

“One month ito. November to December, 5.8 million (passengers) ang inaasahan namin, kasi 4.8 million ang last year,” CAAP spokesperson Eric Apolonio told Super Radyo dzBB.

(This is one month, so from November to December, we’re expecting 5.8 million passengers because we had 4.8 million last year.)

He said there were no reported untoward incidents so far in airports amid the observance of Undas 2025.

“Na delay lang yung ilan flight because of weather disturbance pero all in all, all CAAP airports ay maayos ang operations namin,” Apolonio said.

(Some flights were delayed due to the weather disturbance, but overall, operations at all CAAP airports are running smoothly.)

He reminded passengers to avoid making bomb jokes as it causes inconvenience because passengers and luggage will be unloaded from the aircraft and undergo re-screening.

As passenger influx in the airport is expected due to their return from provinces, Apolonio reminded them to bring plenty of patience. —RF, GMA Integrated News
