Nursing Licensure Exams in Cebu, Iloilo, Tacloban moved to Nov. 6 and 7 amid Tino wrath – PRC

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has rescheduled the conduct of the 2025 Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination in Cebu, Iloilo, and Tacloban to Nov. 6 and 7, 2025 amid the expected impact of Typhoon Tino.

This was according to two separate posts on the PRC’s Facebook page on early Tuesday morning, after the PRC in Region VII announced the deferment of the NLE in Cebu.

The PRC advised affected NLE takers to email the PRC regional offices in Cebu, Iloilo, and Tacloban for further queries and concerns.

Under PRC Resolution 2019-1178, licensure exams are automatically canceled when Storm Signal No. 4 is raised over a certain area without need for a resolution or decision from the PRC.

According to the state weather bureau’s 2 a.m. tropical cyclone bulletin on Tuesday, Cebu, Iloilo, and Tacloban are among 11 areas that are under Signal No. 4.

Earlier, the PRC Region VII – Cebu announced the cancellation of the NLE in Cebu, which was originally slated on Nov. 4 and 5, 2025.

“Kindly wait for our official announcement to be posted on our website. Stay safe,” the Facebook post added. — JMA, GMA Integrated News
