MRT-3 elevators at GMA-Kamuning, Quezon Avenue stations unavailable due to Uwan

The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) on Sunday advised passengers that the northbound and southbound elevators at the GMA-Kamuning and Quezon Avenue stations are temporarily unavailable due to Super Typhoon Uwan.

“Our maintenance team is already conducting the necessary safety checks and will restore operations as soon as conditions permit,” the MRT-3 management said.

“We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your understanding. Passengers needing assistance may approach our station personnel for support. Thank you for your cooperation,” it added.

In an earlier advisory, MRT-3 said that train operations remain normal despite the effects of Uwan.

The last trips are scheduled at 9:30 p.m. from North Avenue Station and 10:09 p.m. from Taft Avenue Station.—MCG, GMA Integrated News
