ICI suspends work on Monday, Nov. 10 amid Uwan onslaught


The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) has suspended work on Monday due to the expected heavy rainfall brought by Super Typhoon Uwan.

“In view of the forecasted inclement weather brought about by Typhoon Uwan, and for the safety of ICI personnel, work at the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) is suspended on November 10, 2025,” the commission said in an advisory on Sunday.

Earlier today, Malacañang announced the suspension of government work in nine regions on November 10 due to the impact of Super Typhoon Uwan.

These regions are the National Capital Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, and Eastern Visayas.

It also suspended classes in 12 regions from November 10 to 11.

Uwan is expected to make landfall on Sunday evening or early Monday morning.—MCG, GMA Integrated News
