LIVE UPDATES: Iglesia Ni Cristo, other groups hold rallies on Nov. 16, 2025

The religious group Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) and other groups are scheduled to hold rallies on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, to call for transparency and better governance amid the corruption revealed in flood control projects.

The INC will have three days of rallies starting Nov. 16 until Nov. 18 at Quirino Grandstand, Rizal Park in Manila.

The PNP will be deploying more than 16,000 police personnel to the venue.

The Manila City government also committed to send 14 ambulances to provide assistance during the event, PNP spokesperson Police Brigadier General Randulf Tuaño said.

According to Tuaño, the gathering is a "religious rally” and not a "political rally."

Meanwhile, the United People's Initiative Fighting Corruption, a group of retired generals, will hold a rally at the EDSA People Power Monument.

A group of supporters of former president Rodrigo Duterte will also hold the Martsa ng Kalayaan on Sunday afternoon.

The group will march from Plaza Salamanca starting at 1 p.m toward Quirino Grandstand where they will join the INC rally.

Meanwhile, another group will hold the Takbo Laban sa Kurakot, a running event inside the campus of University of the Philippines-Diliman from 6 to 10 a.m.

Below are the latest information and news updates about these rallies.
