Marcos swears in Vida as DOJ acting secretary

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Monday administered the oath of new Department of Justice (DOJ) acting secretary Fredderick Vida.
Marcos signed Vida’s appointment paper as acting secretary on Wednesday, November 12.
Prior to this, Vida served as officer-in-charge (OIC) of the department, taking over the post vacated by then Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, who was appointed as Ombudsman.

Vida previously said that the “work continues” as he sought to downplay the hype surrounding his appointment.
“Wala naman bago. OIC, acting, the work continues," he said.—MCG, GMA Integrated News
