PSU-Puerto Princesa grad tops November 2025 midwives licensure exam


A graduate of Palawan State University-Puerto Princesa achieved the top score in the licensure examination for midwives held earlier this month.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 2,152 out of 3,736 test takers passed the exam, given by the Board of Midwifery at testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga. 

Princesa Dumale Talamayan of PSU-Puerto Princesa was the top scorer with a result of 94.00%, while the top performing school with at least 30 examinees is Tagoloan Community College, with all 85 of its test takers passing. The top performing school with 20 to 29 examinees is Mindanao State University-Marawi, with all 27 of its examinees passing.

"The results of examination with respect to two (2) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations," the PRC added.
