The personal properties of President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr., particularly the number of his vehicles and paintings, have increased according to his Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) for 2024.

Documents from GMA Integrated News Research showed that when compared to his 2022 SALN, Marcos was able to acquire a Mercedes-Benz Maybach worth P10.5 million in April 2023, nearly a year after his presidency.
This was an addition to his other vehicles, including a GMC Yukon Denali XL, Toyota Innova, a Toyota Hilux, and a Toyota Fortuner, among others.
Based on his latest SALN, the Philippine leader has 12 motor vehicles.
Paintings
His possession of paintings also rose, with 126 amounting to P82.837 million. He owns artworks of notable artists, including Ben Cabrera, Arturo Luz, and Manuelito Madrid.
Marcos also owns a Fernando Amorsolo painting titled, ''Seated woman with a bashful smile.'' He acquired this in March 2022.
Jewelry
Marcos' amount of pieces of jewelry also increased to P22.800 million from P21.500 million in 2022.
The President's cash on hand or those deposited in banks also rose from P35 million in 2022 to P38.7 million in 2024.
Lands
When it comes to real properties, Marcos was able to acquire agricultural lands in Laoag City last August 2023, with acquisition costs of P92,767.03; P166,932.97; and P11 million.
Marcos declared a net worth of more than P389 million, according to his SALN as of December 31, 2024.
The President also submitted in his SALN an appraisal by a private firm, Cuervo Appraisers, Inc., which placed his net worth at P1.375 billion.
Marcos did not declare any liabilities in his 2024 SALN and his previous SALNs which were filed from June 2022 onwards. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
