PNP loyal to Constitution amid drug use allegation vs Marcos, spox says
The Philippine National Police on Wednesday said the organization remains loyal to the Constitution despite new allegation against President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on supposed illegal drug use.
In a press briefing, PNP spokesperson Police Brigadier General Randulf Tuaño was asked about the take of the organization on the matter.
“Ang PNP po ay isang professional, non-partisan organization, at kami ay mananatiling loyal sa Konstitusyon at sa chain of command. Ang PNP ay hindi makikihalo sa usaping pampulitika,” Tuaño said.

In a speech during the rally of Iglesia ni Cristo at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila on Monday, presidential sister Senator Imee Marcos accused the First Family of using illegal drugs.
Malacañang called Imee’s action a desperate move and accused her of wanting to oust his brother from the presidency to advance her political allies.
Marcos was "disappointed" over Imee's accusation against his family, according to Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro on Wednesday.
“Dismayado po ang Pangulo. Dismayado na umabot sa ganitong kasinungalingan ang ginawa ng kaniyang kapatid,” Castro said.
(The President is disappointed. He is disappointed that his sister has gone so far and resorted to such a lie.)
