Robin Padilla calls for Trump-like strategy vs. drug trade in PH
Citing the "clear and present" danger brought by the drug trade in the country, Senator Robin Padilla said the government should start looking at the strategy implemented by US President Donald Trump in America's fight against the illegal trade.
On Friday's budget deliberation in the Senate, Padilla said Trump's move to tap the military against drug cartels is a tough stance to take.
He also said drug personalities should be declared terrorists.
“Pag sinabi nating national territory, we are being invaded by drugs… Sana isang araw, madeklara din natin itong mga terrorista,” he said.
