NAPOLCOM dismisses cop over sexually suggestive content on social media
The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) has fired a policeman for posting sexually suggestive and immoral content on social media.
According to the NAPOLCOM on Saturday, several videos uploaded on a publicly accessible account from April to June 2025 featured acts such as holding papers with vulgar slang terms for sexual intercourse, slapping a woman and forcing her to eat food, simulating thrusting motions suggestive of sexual activity, showing women receiving massages with visible breast exposure, and depicting children drinking milk while he consumed beer.
He also appeared in uniform in several of the videos and identified himself as a police officer despite not being a member of the PNP content creator or vlogger team.
However, the police officer claimed that the posts were meant for personal expression and entertainment, as well as to generate additional income.
He said that he had no intention of promoting immorality or damaging the reputation of the police service and that he had deleted the videos in question.
The cop, who holds the rank of police staff sergeant, was dismissed from the service after he was found guilty of conduct unbecoming of a police officer.
“Ako po ang nag-order ng motu proprio investigation dito. Ito po ay malinaw na insulto sa dignidad ng mga kababaihan—pulis pa naman siya. Magsilbing babala po ito sa mga vloggers: 'Use your influence with prudence and be responsible when posting on social media,'" said NAPOLCOM chief Commissioner Rafael Vicente Calinisan.
