New LPA spotted off Palawan; LPA formerly known as TD Wilma dissipates
The state weather bureau on Tuesday morning said it is monitoring a new low pressure area (LPA) inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
In its 4 a.m. update, PAGASA said the new LPA was estimated to be 380 km west of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan as of 2 a.m.
This new LPA has a “medium potential of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.”
Meanwhile, the LPA that was formerly Tropical Depression Wilma has dissipated, the state weather bureau said. — JMA, GMA Integrated News
