PNP: Over 100K personnel to be deployed for Christmas 2025
More than 100,000 personnel will be deployed across the country to secure the Christmas and New Year holidays, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday.
At a press conference, PNP spokesperson Police Brigadier General Randulf Tuaño said the police organization increased its deployment from 60,000 last year.

(If you notice, we based our deployment on our eight focus crimes in October versus November. From more than 3,000 to 2,600, which is a decrease of almost 13%.)
According to the PNP official, the heightened police visibility contributed to the 12.81% decline in focus crimes from October to November and this strategy will be implemented for the holiday rush.
Focus crimes are offenses considered as serious in nature with sufficient frequency and regularity.
