Live updates: Bicam hearing for proposed 2026 national budget

The Bicameral Conference Committee deliberation for the proposed P6.793-trillion national budget for 2026 begins Saturday as the House of Representatives and the Senate are set to reconcile their differing versions.

The proceeding will be available on live streaming for the first time ever.

"We are making sure all details are exhibited and exposed for transparency so the HOR can examine our version and for us to examine theirs. This includes all annexes," said Senate President Vicente "Tito" Sotto III earlier this week.
