Palace names Anna Liza Logan as new chief presidential legal counsel
Malacañang announced Tuesday the new chief presidential legal counsel.
At a news briefing, Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro said lawyer Anna Liza Logan was named as President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr.'s new legal adviser.
Logan replaced the late former Senate president Juan Ponce Enrile, who died on November 13 this year at the age of 101.
A respected legal expert with experience in administrative and constitutional law, Logan previously served as the deputy executive secretary for legal affairs of the Office of the President.
Her appointment takes effect immediately, the Palace said.
The chief presidential legal counsel shall provide legal advice and assistance to the President, and perform such other duties and functions as the President may assign.
Meanwhile, other new appointments include the following:
- Atty. Maria Luwalhati Dorotan Tiuseco - Senior Deputy Executive Secretary

- Atty. Joseph Irvin Obenza - Deputy Executive Secretary for Financial Affairs
- Atty. Jesse Hermogenes Andres - Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs
- Atty. Erwin Sta. Ana - Undersecretary for Economic Affairs
- Atty. Alemar Mosquito - Assistant Secretary, OES
These appointments follow a series of Cabinet revamps as the administration continues to realign its leadership to advance its legislative and policy priorities.
