Contractor Sally Santos returned P15M to gov't — DOJ

Contractor Sally Santos returned Monday around P15 million to the state's coffers as part of her restitution over anomalous flood control projects, according to Justice spokesperson Polo Martinez.

Martinez said this is pursuant to the terms of Santos’ memorandum of agreement.

He added that more details will be provided later.

Santos is the owner and manager of SYMS Construction Trading.

Santos has admitted to delivering around P245 million in cash to a Department of Public Works and Highways office in one day. She said she could have delivered up to P1 billion to the DPWH office from 2022 to the present. — RSJ, GMA Integrated News
