SLEX, STAR toll rate hike to take effect January 1, 2026 —TRB


Motorists using the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and the Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) Tollway will be met with toll hikes starting January 1, 2026, according to the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB).

The approved toll hikes on SLEX are as follows:

Alabang to Calamba

  • Class 1 - P126
  • Class 2 - P253
  • Class 3 - P379

Calamba to Sto. Tomas

  • Class 1 - P34
  • Class 2 - P68
  • Class 3 - P102

 

These represent a toll hike of P10, P21, and P31 for Class 1, 2, and 3 vehicles respectively on the Alabang to Calamba section.

Meanwhile, for the Calamba to Sto. Tomas section, the toll hikes are P3, P5, and P8 for Class 1, 2, and 3 vehicles respectively.

For STAR Tollway, TRB has approved toll hikes as follows:

Sto. Tomas to Lipa (Section 1)

  • Class 1 - P60
  • Class 2 - P119
  • Class 3 - P179

Lipa to Batangas (Section 2)

  • Class 1 - P53
  • Class 2 - 106
  • Class 3 - P159

 

For Section 1, the toll will increase by P5, 9, and P14 for Class 1, 2, and 3 vehicles respectively.

For Section 2, the hike in toll will be P4, P8, and P12 for Class 1, 2, and 3 vehicles respectively.

 

The TRB said the toll hikes "will ensure the continued operations, maintenance, and improvements" of both SLEX and STAR Tollway. —KG, GMA Integrated News
