LIVE TRACK: Nazareno 2026 Traslacion


Millions of devotees are expected to participate in Traslacion 2026 as the image of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno (Our Lord Jesus the Nazarene) is transferred from the Quirino Grandstand back to the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno in Quiapo, Manila. 

The procession is expected to last for several hours.

The route will be:

  • Left to Katigbak Drive
  • Right to Padre Burgos Street through Finance Road
  • Straight to Ayala Boulevard
  • Left to Palanca
  • Right to Quezon Boulevard
  • Right to Arlegui Street
  • Right to Fraternal Street
  • Right to Vergara Street
  • Left to Duque de Alba Street
  • Left to Castillejos Street
  • Left to Farnecio Street
  • Right to Arlegui Street
  • Left to Nepomuceno Street
  • Left to Concepcion Aguila Street
  • Right to Carcer Street
  • Right to Hidalgo Street through Plaza del Carmen
  • Left to Bilibid Viejo through Gil Puyat
  • Right to Z.P. de Guzman Street
  • Right to Hidalgo Street
  • Left to Quezon Boulevard
  • Right to Palanca Street through under Quezon Bridge
  • Right to Villalobos Street through Plaza Miranda going to Quiapo Church

Last year, the image of Jesus Nazareno was able to return to Quiapo Church after 20 hours. 

It was attended by 8 million devotees. 

This year, organizers are targeting to finish the Traslacion within 15 hours

The annual event commemorates the arrival of the image of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno from Acapulco, Mexico to the Philippines in the 1600s and its transfer from Bagumbayan (old Intramuros) to Quiapo Church or St. John Baptist Parish in 1767.—VAL/AOL, GMA Integrated News
