LIVE UPDATES: Nazareno 2026

Millions of devotees participated in Traslacion 2026 or the procession of the image of Jesus Nazareno in Manila on Friday and Saturday. 

The andas or carriage bearing the miraculous image of Jesus Nazareno departed Quirino Grandstand at 4 a.m. Friday after the “Panalangin sa Bukang Liwayway” or the morning prayer.

Last year, the procession lasted 20 hours and 45 minutes and was attended by an estimated 8.1 million devotees, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Earlier, the PNP said they hope to cut the duration of the procession to around 15 hours.

As of 8:55 a.m. on Saturday however, the Traslacion was still ongoing, running for 28 hours and 56 minutes, and the andas was approaching the Quezon Bridge on Carlos Palanca Street.
