Marcos back in Manila after working visit to Abu Dhabi

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. arrived in Manila on Wednesday morning following his working visit to Abu Dhabi.

The plane carrying the President landed at 11:28 a.m.

In his arrival statement, Marcos said he took part in discussions on a “future-ready world” with other heads of state and government.

“I had productive dialogues focusing on key sectors such as energy, water, finance, food, and the environment—matters that affect every Filipino, both here and abroad,” Marcos said.

“I assured them that the Philippines is committed to finding solutions and implementing the policies needed for a sustainable future for the people,” he added.

Marcos congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the people of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for hosting the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.

''I have taken note of the views and efforts of my fellow government leaders in tackling the complex issues relevant to the world’s future,'' the President said.

He also mentioned that during his meetings with the President and the Prime Minister of the UAE, he expressed confidence in the future of both countries' relations and its contributions to shared advocacies.

''The Philippines will continue to enhance our bilateral ties with other countries with the goal of further strengthening our economy and ensuring peace and stability for the benefit of the Filipino people,'' Marcos said. —MCG/VBL, GMA Integrated News
