Palace issues 11 local special non-working days for 2026


Malacañang on Saturday announced the proclamations of 11 special non-working days in a province, four cities, and four municipalities to allow residents to join their respective occasions and celebrations.

Proclamation No. 1129 declared  February 10, 2026 a special non-working day in Bacolor, Pampanga for the Bacolor Day celebration.

Under Proclamation No. 1130, February 21, 2026 is a special non-working day in Marinduque to mark the Araw ng Marinduque.

Proclamation No. 1131 designated January 22, 2026 a special non-working day in Guiguinto, Bulacan in honor of the Halamanan Festival.

Executive Secretary Ralph Recto signed the three proclamations on January 13, under President Marcos Jr.’s authority.

Through Proclamation No. 1132, Malacañang declared February 17, 2026 a special non-working day in Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay for the commemoration of the Araw ng Kabasalan.

Proclamations No. 1133 and 1134 declare January 15 and May 7, 2026 as special non-working days in San Pablo City, Laguna, to mark the Coconut Festival and the city’s Charter Anniversary, respectively. These proclamations were signed on January 14.

Meanwhile, February 2, 2026 was designated a special non-working day in Katipunan, Zamboanga Del Norte in celebration of its 112th Araw ng Katipunan, and in Mabalacat City, Pampanga to mark the 314th Founding Anniversary under Proclamation Nos. 1135 and 1139, respectively.

Proclamation No. 1136 declared February 6, 2026 a special non-working day in Consolacion, Cebu in honor of the municipality’s 106th Founding Anniversary.

Under Proclamation No. 1137, Candoni, Negros Occidental will observe a special non-working day on February 11, 2026 for the Dinagyaw sa Tablas Festival.\

February 3, 2026, will also be a special non-working day in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija to observe the city's 76th Founding Anniversary, under Proclamation No. 1138.

These proclamations were signed on January 15.
