Marcos placed under medical observation after experiencing discomfort — Palace
President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. was placed under medical observation on Wednesday night after experiencing discomfort.
''The President spent the night under medical observation as a precautionary measure after experiencing discomfort,'' Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro said at a briefing Thursday.
''His doctors advised rest and monitoring, and his condition remains stable,'' she added.
Castro said the President was observed at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City.
But she added that Marcos continued to carry out his responsibilities while under medical observation and has returned to Malacañang.
Asked what kind of discomfort the President experienced, Castro said she is not privy to it but she said Marcos is already in a "good condition."
''Siya po ay nasa maayos na kalagayan at mamayang hapon po ay magkakaroon pa po siya ng dalawang pribadong meetings,'' Castro said.
(He is in a good condition and this afternoon, he will have two private meetings.)
Castro said it would depend on the advice of his physician if Marcos will stay in Malacañang for a while and refrain from attending public engagements. — RSJ/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
