Convicted persons in flood control mess to be detained in Sablayan penal farm

Personalities who will be found guilty over anomalous flood control projects will be detained at the Sablayan Prison and Penal Farm in Mindoro Occidental, according to Manny Vargas' report on Super Radyo dzBB.

According to the report, Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Director Gregorio Catapang said Sablayan is being turned into a supermax facility for high-profile criminals.

He issued this remark during the second national decongestion summit.

Catapang said this is because of the bureau's plan to decongest the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City.
