The Light Rail Transit-2 (LRT-2) and the Metro Rail Transit-3 (MRT-3) announced on Monday that it will be offering free rides to all participants of the Philippine Women’s Open from January 26 to 31.

LRT-2 said that the free rides will cover officials, coaches, staff, athletes, and event volunteers with valid IDs.

Likewise, the MRT-3 will offer free rides to all accredited officials and members of the local organizing committee, volunteers, participants, media, and sponsors of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).

Those who will avail of the free MRT-3 rides shall present their valid WTA accreditation pass in all stations.

This is the first time that the Philippines will host a WTA 125 tournament, which features several top players from around the world, including Filipino tennis superstar Alex Eala.
