Marcos 'OK,' set to attend 2 events on Thursday —Palace
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. will attend two events on Thursday, according to Malacañang as it maintains that the Chief Executive is in good health.
"Meron siyang schedule ngayong araw tsaka mamayang gabi, makikita naman po eto. Baka i-live stream po," Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro said in an interview on Unang Balita.
(He has a schedule today and tonight, you will see it. Maybe it'll be live streamed.)
This comes after the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) posted a video of Marcos Wednesday night amid reported health concerns and recently being diagnosed with diverticulitis.

"OK na.. Binigyan lang ako ng mga gamot at tuloy ang aking pag-inom ng antibiotics, pero OK na ko," Marcos said in the video.
(I'm OK. The doctors just gave me medicine and I'm still taking antibiotics, but I'm OK.)
Castro said the video was released to show the public that Marcos is in good condition.
"Kagabi, nagrequest ako kung puwede ko siya ma-video, kasi para makita din ng taumbayan ano ba yung kanyang lagay... Para kasing di nasasatisfy yung mga tao kapag 'di nakikita ang pangulo na kumikilos at gumagalaw," Castro explained.
(Last night, I requested if I could video him, so that the people could see what his condition was like... It's as if people are not satisfied when they don't see the president moving and acting.)
Malacañang previously clarified that a medical document on President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s health that is circulating online is fake.
The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) condemned the circulation of the “fabricated and malicious” claims about the Chief Executive’s health.
“The document being circulated is FAKE. It did not originate from any legitimate medical examination of the President and does not reflect his current health condition. The President is well, fully capable of discharging his official responsibilities, and continues to actively perform his duties,” the PCO said in a statement.
Malacañang also said that there is no need to issue a medical bulletin on the health condition of Marcos.—VAL, GMA Integrated News
