Lotto ticket prices increased to ₱25 starting Feb. 1, prizes bigger —PCSO

Lotto ticket prices increased to P25 starting Feb. 1, prizes bigger —PCSO

The prices of lotto tickets will be increased from P20 to P25 starting February 1 as the minimum jackpot and consolation prizes will be bigger, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

"Simula Pebrero 1, 2026 ang lahat ng jackpot bearing game tickets ay magkakahalaga na ng Php 25.00," PCSO said in a post on its social media account.

(Starting February 1, 2026, all jackpot bearing game tickets will cost P25.)

In a statement on Friday, the PCSO said "while these enhancements include a measured adjustment in ticket prices, the move is designed to offer players a more competitive "risk-to-reward" ratio."

"More importantly, the increased participation fueled by these larger jackpots directly expands the funds generated for the PCSO’s vital mission: providing health, medical assistance, and social welfare programs to millions of Filipinos," it added.

The PCSO bared the updated prize structure:

Minimum jackpot prizes

  • Lotto 6/42 - previously P6 million now P10 Million
  • Mega Lotto 6/45 - previously P9M now P15M
  • Super Lotto 6/49 - previously P16M now P25M
  • Grand Lotto 6/55 - previously P30M now P45M
  • Ultralotto 6/58 - previously P50M now P75M

Consolation prizes

  • Lotto 6/42 - up to P1.1M (five numbers), P1M (four numbers)
  • Mega Lotto 6/45 - P1.2M (5), P1.1M (4)
  • Super Lotto 6/49 - P1.3M (5), P1.2M (4)
  • Grand Lotto 6/55 - P1.4M (5), P1.3M (4)
  • Ultra Lotto 6/58 - P1.5M (5), P1.4M (4)

The PCSO noted that the progressive jackpot system is maintained. If there is no jackpot winner, the prize will continue to increase until a bettor matches all six numbers.

PCSO General Manager Mel Robles said this recent move shows PCSO’s efforts to make every draw more exciting and rewarding for all players.

"These higher starting jackpots reflect our commitment to keeping the games exciting while ensuring the long-term sustainability of our charitable initiatives," Robles said.

"Every ticket purchased is not just a chance to win; it’s a contribution to the nation's welfare,” he added. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
