Marcos satisfaction rating stays neutral —SWS
President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr.'s net satisfaction rating stays neutral, with 40% of adult Filipinos satisfied with his performance, results of a Social Weather Stations survey showed.
The latest SWS survey also showed that 43% were dissatisfied while 17% undecided with his performance. When compared to September 2025, the gross satisfaction with the President hardly moved from 39%, while gross undecided stayed at 17% and gross dissatisfaction barely changed from 44%.
The recent survey was conducted from November 24 to 30, 2025, using face-to-face interviews of 1,200 adults (18 years old and above) nationwide: 300 each in Metro Manila, Balance Luzon (or Luzon outside Metro Manila), the Visayas, and Mindanao.
The sampling error margins are ±3% for national percentages and ±6% each for Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.
Meanwhile, the survey results also found out that Marcos’ net satisfaction rating was highest in Balance Luzon at moderate +13, followed by the Visayas at neutral +2, Metro Manila at poor -17, and Mindanao at poor -29.
In September 2025, his net satisfaction rose by 10 points from neutral -8 in the Visayas, and by 5 points from neutral +8 in Balance Luzon. However, this fell by 15 points from neutral -2 in Metro Manila, while it hardly changed from poor -28 in Mindanao.
Further, the President's net satisfaction rating rose by 17 points from neutral -8 to neutral +9 in rural areas. On the other hand, it fell by 13 points from neutral -1 to poor -14 in urban areas.
According to SWS, the survey items reported here were non-commissioned. They were done on SWS’s own initiative and released as a public service.
GMA News Online asked the Presidential Communications Office for comment on Marcos' latest net satisfaction ratings but it has yet to reply as of posting time.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
