Kerwin Espinosa surrenders to NBI

Albuera Mayor Kerwin Espinosa has surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Cebu, NBI spokesperson Palmer Mallari confirmed Thursday.

This came after the Cebu Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 14 issued an arrest warrant against Espinosa and others over a murder case.

The court recommended no bail.

GMA News Online has asked Espinosa's camp for comment, but they have yet to reply as of posting time. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
