The ceremony was held at the Philippine Arena.
“Your presence today is a living testament that the insurmountable was not insurmountable at all. What felt like a life and death situation was but a difficult moment,” Associate Justice and Bar Exams Chairperson Amy Lazaro-Javier said.
She called on them to remain humble, stressing that lawyers are not special.
“To borrow the words of Justice Rosario, as servants of the law, you must keep your feet firmly planted on the ground. For it is then that you will get to enjoy the profession more and appreciate the legal system better and find your work more rewarding,” she said.
“Matuto tayong lumingon sa ating pinanggalingan (let us learn to look back where we came from),” she added.
Lazaro-Javier said 22 individuals could not take their oath.
A total of 5,594 out of 11,420 examinees passed the 2025 Bar Examinations.
