DFA warns public of fraudulent messages, calls from 'fake officials'

The Department of Foreign Affairs, on Friday, issued a warning against individuals posing as DFA officials and contact the public and government agencies.

According to the advisory, the individuals introduce themselves as DFA Assistant Secretary Emmanuel Donato Guzman and Jay Guzman, and had been making unauthorized emails, messages, and calls on behalf of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs.

No details were revealed regarding the nature or content of the correspondences.
